Everything you need to know about Loovi

About Loovi

We comply with both patient data laws and GDPR, which means your information is handled with the same high security requirements as within public healthcare. We also follow The European Code of Conduct for Data Centers (EU DC CoC). All data is stored encrypted on servers in Sweden, and we use both technical and organizational safeguards to ensure your information is secure with us.

You decide which tests you want to take and what information you receive. Loovi provides you with detailed information about blood lipids, blood sugar, inflammation, vitamin levels, and hormone status. This can help you identify what your body lacks to function optimally and any early risks for common lifestyle diseases. You can also map your genetic characteristics and needs with our DNA test. Read more about which biomarkers we test under How Loovi works.

Regular blood analysis and follow-up with a doctor is always included – regardless of which Loovi program you choose. The Analysis program is perfect for you who want to keep track of your health with doctor support but prefer to manage your training independently. In the Longevity and Performance programs, we tailor both a health plan and a training program based on your values and goals. You can also chat with the health team at any time and ask questions about your health between tests.

Ja. Under ”Min profil” kan du när som helst pausa ditt medlemskap i upp till två månader åt gången eller avsluta det helt. För fullständiga regler hänvisar vi till våra Allmänna villkor.

Test Sampling

Blood analysis is done through a regular blood test. Test clinics are available globally. How often you're tested depends on your program. The physical tests are optional and can be performed on your own, at home or at the gym. Both the type of tests and how often they're conducted may vary between programs. All programs include a VO2max test, for example, but it can be done in different ways – either using exercise equipment at home, at the gym, or at an affiliated clinic for more accurate assessment. Read more about Loovi's programs under Our programs.

Loovi tests 40+ selected biomarkers through your blood. These can provide detailed information about blood lipids, blood sugar, inflammation, vitamin levels, and hormone status. Blood analysis can help you discover early risks for lifestyle diseases and show what your body lacks to function optimally. Loovi doesn't diagnose conditions, but if you need to check any blood values at your health center, we'll let you know.

Our programs already include a number of selected biomarkers to give you a broad and deep health picture. But if there's something specific you want to add or remove, we're happy to arrange that. Just contact us and we'll help you customize the test panel according to your preferences. Read more about the biomarkers included in Loovi's programs under How Loovi works.

The DNA analysis is included in the Performance program but can also be added to other programs. It provides a detailed report on your genetics and can give valuable insights in several areas. Perhaps you want to find out how your body processes different nutrients, how you're affected by stress and sleep, or how you should train for the best results in a short time. The DNA test analyzes 11 different genes linked to diet and lifestyle, and 10 genes linked to training. The result is 98.1% accurate and can help you adapt your diet and training to optimize your health based on your genetic profile.

Physical Tests

No, the physical tests are completely voluntary. But they give both you and Loovi a clearer picture of your current level and how your physique changes over time. The more insight we have about your capacity, the better and more accurate recommendations we can provide. It also becomes a way for you to concretely measure progress, see your current status, and stay motivated.

The physical tests for strength, aerobic capacity, and mobility can be done on your own, at home or at the gym, with clear instructions from your Loovi personal trainer. For the VO2max test which you do twice a year in the Performance program, you'll be booked at a clinic near where you live, as the test requires specific equipment and expertise.

Loovi's physical tests give you a clear picture of your strength, oxygen uptake ability, mobility, and muscular endurance – and show which areas you can advantageously focus on to develop. The tests are carefully designed to give a complete picture of your health status, identify potential risk factors in good time, and help you maximize your future quality of life.

Yes. Through blood analyses and physical tests, you get a data-driven picture of your capacity – and insights into areas for improvement you might otherwise miss. Your health plan is adapted to your values, and your Loovi personal trainer optimizes your training specifically for your sport.

My Loovi Team

Your team includes a doctor, personal trainer, nutritionist, and physiotherapist.

In addition to monitoring your health, your health team can give you what you need to reach your health goals, big or small. The team creates your health plan with a training schedule and dietary advice – tailored to your everyday life and your goals. You can also chat and ask the team questions about anything related to your health.

Counseling and follow-up with Loovi primarily takes place digitally. You have video meetings with your Loovi doctor after each blood test, where you go through the health data in detail and can ask questions about the test results. Depending on which program you choose, the scope of the health plan and the number of follow-up meetings vary. For more information about our different setups, go to Our programs.

How often follow-up occurs depends on which program you follow. Follow-up with your doctor takes place after each blood test. You meet with the rest of the team when your health plan is updated.

The Health Plan

The health plan contains a personalized training schedule and detailed dietary recommendations. The plan is tailored to your blood values, test results, and goals with Loovi in the short and long term. Your training plan takes into account how much time you have for training, and your diet plan is adapted to your body's specific needs; with the right amount of carbohydrates, fat, and protein, as well as supplements. You can, of course, follow any diet you want, but our recommendations are always based on research-based guidelines for optimal health. If something in your current diet risks negatively affecting your values, you'll receive clear advice on how to adjust it.

Your health plan evolves as you do. Each time you get new test results or change your goals, the plan is adjusted to continue giving you the best possible support. How often this happens is determined by which program you have chosen. To read more about our specific programs, go to Our programs.

It's completely natural to experience a dip sometimes. Loovi is here to support you when your focus is elsewhere. If your plan suddenly feels unrealistic, we'll adjust it based on your wishes, current level, and circumstances, so you can continue forward at a pace that suits you.

You can easily track your blood values, physical test results, and progress in Loovi's digital platform. There you can see how your values change from test to test and get comprehensive reports to discuss with your health team. Your health plan is continuously adjusted by your team based on your blood values, test results, and goals, so you always have support for long-term and sustainable development.

Loovi is based on established research in health, diet, and exercise, and all recommendations are made in consultation with doctors. Your health team uses proven tools and methods to increase the probability of a long, healthy, and active life by preventing and managing the most common lifestyle diseases.

With Loovi, you can get help reducing the risk of several chronic diseases and forms of cancer, including heart attack, stroke, high blood pressure, colon cancer, breast cancer, type 2 diabetes, obesity, high cholesterol, atherosclerosis, dementia, depression, burnout, sleep problems, and osteoporosis.

How many healthy years Loovi can add to your life is difficult to say, as each individual is unique. But by focusing on measures that are proven to have the greatest positive effect on health, we can, through regular measurements, help you discover and manage risk factors in time. With individualized health plans and preventive care, the likelihood increases that you will stay strong, healthy, and active longer. Our main focus is that you get more years with high quality of life and can continue doing what you love without limitations.

Loovi doesn't diagnose or deliver illness notifications. You also have the choice not to test for disease at all. If your test results indicate something abnormal, we'll refer you to healthcare. If serious illness is suspected, we'll contact you directly. With increased risk for chronic disease, such as cardiovascular disease or prediabetes, we optimize your health plan accordingly. You'll receive concrete recommendations on diet, exercise, and other preventive measures to reduce the risk and support long-term well-being.
